A Bad Romance that's oh so good.

Glittery polishes are a weakness of mine, right up there with smoky eye colours. Add a black base in to the mix and I'm guaranteed to start drooling uncontrollably. Enter Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance.

Absolutely stunning glossy black base with purple/pink glitter in varying sizes. It reminds me somewhat of MAC's mineralise eyeshadow in Young Punk, the glitter is the same colour.

It goes on very smoothly. As with all glitter polishes, it can be somewhat of a pain to remove but it really is worth it. For best effects, I prefer layering black-based glitter polishes over a coat of a black creme. Also makes for a slightly easier removal process since you won't be removing multiple coats of glitter.

Sunlight would really capture the true stunning beauty of this polish. Alas, our delightful English weather has foiled me again so flash it is.
This is just one coat of Bad Romance over China Glaze Liquid Leather. No top coat has been applied at this point but it still shines, more so in person.
You'll need to roll the bottle around in your hands before applying, just to ensure you get a good mix of the smaller & larger glitter flecks.
It is quite pricey, $18 from Sephora. I've heard that China Glaze Mummy May I is a pretty good dupe for this, it just lacks the larger hexagonal glitter flecks. If you have the cash though, Bad Romance is the way to go.
